Friends and Family Remember Angelo Zuccolo

TOWN OF DICKINSON -- A beloved actor, stage director, theater professor at Broome Community College was laid to rest Monday.
Angelo Zuccolo took his final curtain call last week, on May 15th.  He was 72-years-old.

Monday, friends, family, and loved ones paid their respects one last time.

Zuccolo was well known in the arts community for his performances in stage, film and in television.

"He was a loving, generous, kind person, and a very funny one.  My fondest memories of "Zuke" would be when we were kids.  We made home movies, and he directed them. When a prop failed, he would just come up with another prop, or change the story line to accommodate what he had," said Zuccolo's first cousin Angelo Mendillo.

A scholarship fund in honor of Zuccolo has been established for a BCC student who excels in theater.
