The republican has been the County's top cop since 1998 and next year will be his golden jubilee-- 50 years with the Broome County Sheriff's Department. Harder says he's not quite ready for retirement just yet.
"I'm working on putting a campaign together starting this year for next year. I'm looking forward to it. I still enjoy getting up and going to work, I look forward to it every single day," said Harder.
Harder defeated former Broome County Undersheriff Gary O'neil in 2010.
