Fox 40 News spoke with a Watertown, MA resident who lived a quarter mile away from Thursday night's shootout between the bombing suspects and police. That shoot out left an MIT police officer dead and a transit police officer severely injured.
Mike Donovan says he's only slept an hour since Thursday night's events. On Friday, he says he spent the day inside with his family until police told residents it was ok to leave their homes.
Donovan says he had just gotten outside when he heard more shots fired.
Donovan's brother is a member of the Watertown Police Department who spent the day going door-to-door as part of the manhunt.
