ENDICOTT -- Saturday could be a big day for country music fans in the area.
It's the day tickets for the Tim McGraw concert at the Dick's Sporting Goods Open on August 16th go on sale. Tournament organizers expect the tickets to sell out quickly. While not saying how many tickets are available, tournament officials say an overwhelming response from sponsors means there is a limited number of tickets available for the general public.
"There's really a limited number of those tickets. We're really trying to stress that so no one is disappointed. We have a set number of tickets that we are looking to sell that we feel will be a comfortable environment for people," said Dick's Open Tournament Director John Karedes.
Karedes said a limited number of tickets went on sale this morning to volunteers, and those have already sold out. Tickets are available at local Dick's Sporting Goods Stores, dsgopen.com, The Veterans Memorial Arena box office, and Ticketmaster.
