BINGHAMTON -- By the time Seton Catholic Central plated 8 in the 5th, the Saints had all the runs they needed as they beat Windsor 12-0 on Thursday afternoon at NYSEG Stadium.
The Saints started early with a Casey Kane RBI triple in the first inning. Kane went 3-4, scoring all three times he reached base. Michael Korchak (3 runs), Neil McCormack (3 RBIs), Connor McCormack (2 runs & 2RBIs), and Steve Novitske all had 2 hits apiece. Connor Ligeikis added 3 RBIs with a double in the 8-run fifth.
Windsor's Noah Jones accounted for 2 hits. Josh Cady and Jake Conroy each added one hit, and that was it for the Black Knights offense.
Seton's Pat Gosney limited Windsor to 1 hit with 6 strikeouts and a walk in a three inning start. Korchak came on in the 5th to record the win with 4 innings, 3 hits, 9 strikeouts, and 1 walk.
