BU Wrestling Gears Up for NCAAs: Part 2

VESTAL -- Part two of our NCAA Wrestling Preview features the lone Junior Bearcat making the trip to Des Moines: Cody Reed.

It is Reed's second straight appearance at Nationals and he will face a familiar foe - six-seeded Ryan Loder of Northern Iowa. Loder beat Reed 3-0 in December's Midland Championship, but Reed won't be changing his plan of attack this time around.

Head Coach Matt Dernlan said, "We're not trying to do anything different or deviate or look for some magic formula here at the end of the year. We're staying consistent with the game plan."

Reed added, "I'm definitely excited about the matchup. I wrestled the kid earlier this year and had a close match with him so I know what to expect and coach has prepared me well."
