Shop Lifting and Drug Arrests

A Chenango Forks woman is facing charges after police say she shoplifted from a Dollar General store.

State police arrested 26-year-old Jamie Natale for petit larceny, trespass and criminal possession of a controlled substance.

She appeared in the Whitney Point Village Court on Monday.

State police have also arrested two men on drug charges after a traffic stop in the Town of Union.

New York State Troopers arrested 28-year-old David Childs of Maine.  They say he was operating his vehicle on Hooper Road while under the influence of drugs. 

Police also arrested 19-year-old Cassidy Canfield of Johnson City for being in possession of marijuana. 

Childs was also charged with criminal possession of marijuana.  Both will appear in the Town of Union Court later this month.
