Irish Dancers Visit Tioga Hills

It's that time of year again--when everyone dons their green and celebrates St. Patrick's Day.  On Friday, the students at Tioga Hills were given a special treat.

The Clann Na Cara Irish dancers visited the elementary school and showcased their step skills.  Throughout the month of March, the dancers visit many different venues to put on a show.  For four of the dancers who go to Tioga Hills, they got to show off a little in front of their friends.

"We do a lot of community service during the St. Patrick's Day season, it's a crazy fun season," said Kathryn Egan, Clann Na Cara Parent Volunteer.  "These kids love it, they practice all year long for this show season.  They go from nursing home to nursing home, school to school.  They are so proud to dance and to show their friends all their hard work," said Kathryn Egan, parent volunteer.

Clann Na Cara tries to visit all their dancers' schools during the month of March.  St. Patrick's Day is on Sunday.
