ENDWELL -- The Maine-Endwell girls are gearing up for their state semifinal matchup this Friday vs. Sect. XI's Harborfields.
The team is confident in its ability to win it all because they play as just that -- a team.
Junior Julie Yacovoni expressed, "I'm really excited. I think that we can pull off two more wins as long as we execute and stay focused."
Head Coach Sunny Spera added, "I don't think we're fantastic at anything. But I think we're pretty good at everything. What makes them special is the fact that they rely on each other."
M-E and Harborfields tip off at Hudson Vallley Community College at 1:30 PM. Oneonta and Harpursville girls will also be in the state semis, as well as Moravia on the boys' side, playing in Glens Falls.
