Senator Libous is speaking out in favor of restoring millions of dollars in state funding for people with developmental disabilities.
Agencies throughout the state are facing millions in cuts in both the state and federal budgets.
Libous says he has made lists of where the state can get $120 million dollars to fund organizations like achieve which provides support for people with disabilities and their families.
"I'm going to fight very hard to see these funds get restored. It's very important to me personally, to the district, and to the state," said Libous.
Libous says the senate and assembly will pass budgets on Monday, and on Tuesday the budgets will go to conference committees including one on which he serves.
