Victim's Friend Apprehends Man Who Broke Into Her Car
3/7/2013 (Updated 10:18:23 PM)
Police say they responded to a call around 3:30 Saturday morning at the Guzzling Goose Bar in Endicott.
They say 35-year-old David Stacconi Jr. allegedly broke into a woman's car, hid in there, then tried to flee the scene when the woman entered her car. Police say a friend held Stacconi until police arrived. A deputy used his taser to stop Stacconi after the suspect took police on a foot chase. Police say Stacconi was in possession of a box cutter and had to receive medical treatment for injuries related to a previous altercation.
Stacconi is charged with criminal possession of a weapon, criminal mischief and resisting arrest. He is in the Broome County Jail.
