Students Show Off Projects at "Festival of Learning"

The students of George F. Johnson elementary displayed their research projects to their classmates and families at the two-day cap-off of the school's "festival of learning".

Projects included paper planes, the history of Legos, and the production of maple syrup.

The school's principal said the festival gives students a chance to have fun while learning new things.

The point is to extend learning beyond the classroom and give students the opportunity to explore something that theyre interested in, said Michelle Feyerabend.

You can show them that you learned a lot and that its fun, said student Kevin Luong.

Students and families enjoy the event on a yearly basis.
