Vestal police say they have now apprehended a suspect in the Jensen Road home invasion and burglary on Wednesday.
The suspect is not being identified at this time because he is currently in the custody of another law enforcement agency as a result of an unrelated incident.
Earlier, police said a male forced his way into a home at 128 South Jensen Road and held a woman at knife-point.
The woman and her two children aged one and two fled the home and called 9-1-1 from a neighbor's house. No one was injured.
