Body Identified as Missing South New Berlin Woman

Police have confirmed that the body found Tuesday in the Town of Pharsalia is that of missing South New Berlin woman, Jennifer Ramsaran. Ramsaran had been reported missing by her husband Ganesh "Remy" Ramsaran on December 11th of 2012.

Remy Ramsaran was preparing to give Fox 40 an update on his wife's search at his South New Berlin home this afternoon when he got the call from police at two o'clock that his wife had been identified.

After the call a distraught Remy Ramsaran felt he could no longer go on camera but wanted to thank the community for it's support during his wife's disappearance, and say that Jennifer would always be loved.

The Chenango County Sheriff's office is still investigating the cause of Ramsaran's death. The Sheriffs Office is asking anyone with information to contact them at 607-337-1924 or 607 337 1864. All calls will be kept confidential.
