Yevchinecz signs with Wagner

BINGHAMTON -- Binghamton's Andre Yevchinecz, Wednesday,  inked his national letter of intent to play football for Wagner next fall.

Yevchinecz, who's a letterman in three sports for the Pats, says at the end of the day, it's football that's his first love.

"There's just nothing like buckling up the helmet on a Friday night or Saturday, and playing football. It just doesn't match any other sport. (Wagner) has a great program going for them right now. Coach is real nice, and I like the area. So, I look forward to playing with them."

Yevchinecz, who was one of the area's best dual threat quarterbacks, says the defensive back field is his liking destination for him with Wagner.
