2/27/2013 (Updated 11:10:10 PM)
Gene Faughnan announced Wednesday night at Traditions At The Glen, that he will seek the republican nomination for New York Supreme County Justice.
He says his experience with labor relations, disability benefits, and worker's comp will fit his role as judge.
"My experience has been representing disabled individuals, disabled men, women, and children. In that experience, I really found that I neared an awful lot about the importance the law can have in people's day to day lives," says Faughnan
If elected, Faughnan would succeed Judge Robert Rose, who is reaching mandatory retirement age
