Police Investigating Armed Robbery at CVS

An apparent armed robbery Wednesday night at the CVS store on Main Street in Owego.

Fox 40 was the only TV news on the scene, and we obtained this exclusive video, as police were loading a person who appeared to be a suspect, into an ambulance with bandages and wounds clearly visible.

Police are not releasing any official information yet, but scanner traffic indicated that the man was thought to have a gun--and did display a knife when police apprehended him. 

The injuries were apparently from police baton strikes as the suspect was captured.  The suspect is believed to have run away from the CVS on foot, and was stopped at the intersection of Temple and North Avenue.

No other injuries reported.
