The national signing period started a bit slow for Section IV, but things have certainly picked up now.
Over at Union-Endicott, and Maine-Endwell two of their school's best signed on the dotted line. Caleb Scepaniak will play football at Wagner, while Erin Savoldy will play the other kind of football at Albany; successfully wrapping up two great high school careers.
"It feels really good to know that all my hard work has paid off, and that I'm going to get to do what other kids wish they could do," said Scepaniak.
"(I've been) working really hard, trying to find these opportunities for myself, says Savoldy. Evidently it paid off. I'm proud of myself. I'm happy of what I've accomplished."
