Soccer Treasurer Larceny

It was a case of grand larceny, according to police.

The person charged is the former treasurer of a local youth soccer organization.

47 year old Sandra Scharnikow of Schuyler Street in Endicott is accused of taking more than 17-thousand dollars from the Vestal Recreational Youth Soccer Association.

She allegedly spent the money on herself. The thefts occurred between June and December of last year.
