Circus Terrifico in Johnson City

JOHNSON CITY -- Magic, juggling, and athletic dancing.  You can see it all in Johnson City tomorrow.

"Motus O" is an internationally touring dance-theatre troupe from Toronto that is in town to perform their play "Circus Terrifico" tomorrow in Johnson City.  The family show is about the adventures of a group of clowns, and will feature two ten-minute micro-ballets: Sleeping Beauty and Swan Lake.

"It's very physical theatre.  Not a pure theatre piece, not a pure dance piece.  We blend both.  Lots of physical comedy mime involved, some circus tricks involved, we do some skipping, the old double dutch.  It's very eclectic," said Jack Langenhuizen, founder and member.

You can catch the show tomorrow at the Schorr Family Firehouse stage at 2 pm and again at 7 pm.  You can purchase tickets by calling the theatre box office at 772-2404.
