Broome County Man Pleads Guilty to Bank Robberies

Four bank robberies in two states that's what a Broome County man admitted to in federal court Thursday.

44 year old Samuel Parrotti, of Lisle is pleading guilty to four counts of bank robbery a plea that could get him up to 20 years in prison.

During July and August of last year, Parrotti robbed both the M&T Bank Branch on Vestal Avenue in Binghamton, and the NBT Bank branch on Rt. 11 in Whitney Point.

In addition, Parrotti  held up  the Pennstar Bank in Scranton, and the Visions Federal Credit Union in Sayre, Pennsylvania.

He admits having a gun during the robberies, and passed notes demanding money.

His total take for all four heists: about 38-thousand dollars.
