A local singer and song writer is doing more than sharing his melodies.
Jared Campbell is also delivering an anti-bullying message. He visited the Maine Memorial Elementary School Thursday to perform for the students and said he hopes to teach the kids the Golden Rule - to treat others as they would want to be treated.
"I think it's extremely important at this age to portray these messages in a way they'll understand because I deal so much with middle and high school students and they all tell me that so many issues with bullying started at this level in elementary school," says Jared Campbell, local singer and song writer.
Campbell said he loves to use his craft to impact others lives.
