Local IT Firm Continues to Expand

ICS Solutions Group, of Endicott and Syracuse, N.Y., who serve the IT needs of the business community in Upstate New York and Northeastern Pennsylvania since 1986, has expanded its work force.

Demand for ICS customized business services has been brisk, resulting in expanding the workforce of the company by 25 percent to meet demand. Now, with nine new employees joining the team, ICS has more than 45 IT professionals deployed in the field.

The group has offices in Endicott and Syracuse and the company's IT agents serve businesses in Binghamton, Elmira, Oneonta, Northeastern Pa., Syracuse, Ithaca, Rochester and the North Country.

"Each of our new team members helps ICS deliver on its heritage of delivering the finest IT support and thought leadership in these areas to our business clients," Kevin Blake, President of ICS Solutions Group, said.

Founded in 1986, ICS Solutions Group works with clients to better understand their technology needs, while developing solutions to achieve their goals.

Joining the ICS team are:
Kurtis Florance, Network Systems Engineer. Florance is A+ Certified and brings more than a decade of IT experience to ICS's customers.
William Safarik, Systems Engineer. Safarik, a Native of Oneonta and a veteran of the U.S. Navy, has several years worth of IT experience. He is currently finalizing CCNA, CCDA and LINUX+ certifications.
Jason Bock, Systems Engineer. For more than 16 years, Bock has supported client networks both large and small in Syracuse, Rochester and Atlanta. He holds Microsoft and CompTIA certifications.
Randy Taylor, Network Engineer. In addition to bringing years of IT experience to the table, Taylor volunteers as technology lead for his Church.
Stephen Wertz, Account manager, New Business Development. A seasoned sales professional, Wertz has honed his professional commitment and drive over ten years of helping IT customers find solutions to their IT needs.
Reva Easton, Administrative Assistant. Easton, an able and experienced logistics manager, keeps the ICS office team operating smoothly.
Kent Walker, Network Technician. Originally from  Liverpool, N.Y., has been working in IT in Syracuse market for several years. He is adept at troubleshooting network connectivity issues and in deploying new assets and systems. 

Also, two new employees have been hired to staff the newly created Help Desk, an new service that will guarantee ICS customers experiencing problems will have their issues resolved quickly, efficiently and with minimal loss of productivity.
Patrick Kennedy. A seasoned customer service professional, Kennedy is skilled at responding during times of crisis and helping determine the best assets to deploy in times of IT difficulty.
Chad Sinnett, of Hallstead Pa., has extensive training in troubleshooting and has lengthy Help Desk experience in academic and enterprise environments.
