ENDICOTT -- Union-Endicott High School hosted the semi-finals of its 30th annual dual meet tournament today.
It is considered the toughest dual meet competition in New York, drawing 14 of the best teams from across the state. Hundreds of wrestlers from a wide range of weight classes fought throughout the day.
"I think this is the strongest field we've had in a long time. There's a lot of depth to it and we got 4 out of the 5 top teams in the state," said Josh Ruff, U-E High School Varsity Wrestling Coach.
"The fans are great. There are so many of them here, everybody here loves wrestling so it's great to hear the crowd cheer and everything," said senior wrestler Kyle Kelly of Chenango Forks High School.
The event continues with the finals tomorrow at 3 pm at union-endicott high school.
