$20,000 Check for CHOW

An area credit union is helping to feed needy families this year.

SEFCU Credit Union presented a 22-thousand dollar check to the Community Hunger Outreach Warehouse Friday.

The money will stay locally and go towards rescue missions and food pantries

"I think that's the biggest thrill that we have, that we had a pretty good year and we were able to give back to charities in our community,"
 
"It is absolutely incredible, we could not do the work we do without partners like SEF-CU, we rely on the community to help us out to feed the needy in our area so it's essential and very much appreciated,"

SEFCU is one of the largest credit unions in Upstate New York. 

It is donating a total of 230 thousand dollars to needy communities across its four regions.
