Weather delays some holiday tournaments

Because of the inclement weather the Greene Holiday Basketball tournament has delayed its action, moving the start of the tournament to Friday instead of tomorrow.

Likewise is the case for the Pete Hyde Coaches vs Cancer Holiday Classic in Johnson City. Tip-off for the tournament has been moved from tomorrow to Friday because of the storm.

As for the Stop DWI Holiday Classic, they're good to go.

FOX 40 talked on the phone with the Tournament Coordinator, Chris Marion, Monday and he said all teams in the national bracket will be in town on time.

Vestal, on the other hand, has pulled out of tomorrow's slam dunk and three-point competitions, but Marion told FOX 40 if any of the Vestal player show up Thursday, on their own, they will be allowed to compete.

Action begins at Binghamton High School at 3:30pm.
