Weak Holiday Sales

Early reports show holiday sales are down from last year. 
   
Reuters reports holiday sales rose 0.7% from October 28 through Christmas Eve, compared to a 2% rise last year. 

The northeast reportedly had the weakest holiday season in the nation, they say possibly because of the impact Hurricane Sandy had on the region.
