Maine Endwell School Districts Layoffs

The Maine-Endwell School District is still working on the number of positions that will be cut in an effort to dig out of a nearly $4 million deficit.

Last night the M-E school board unanimously voted to accept recommendations for mid-year reductions.

Superintendent Jason Van Fossen will recommend to the board which cuts he feels are necessary before at it's January 10th meeting.

All impacted staff members will be notified prior to that meeting.
