Binghamton start-up team advances

The winning team of Binghamton's start-up weekend competition includes some Broome Community College students and they will advance to compete against teams from around the world.
   
The Protome-3D team wants to create a 3D printing company in Broome County.  Team members say many local companies could benefit from their efficient, affordable services.  Voting begins on Wednesday November 21st until November 27th, and people can vote through start-up weekend's Facebook page.

The winner of the global competition will receive a VIP trip to Rio de Janeiro, a trip to San Francisco to tour Googleplex, along with money to support the project.
