Union Supervisor Election Results

Election results won't be finalized until Monday, because military ballots are still being accepted.

In her run against Jack Cheevers, it pretty much looks like Rose Sotak has been elected Town of Union Supervisor, but her margin of victory over Jack Cheevers is just 27 votes.

"You know we have to wait till Monday for it to be 100%. I understand that we are at 99.9%. I have been told that it is official, but I like every dot and T crossed," said Sotak.

Despite the narrow vote margin, the Election Board says no recount will be conducted.

Cheevers has served several times in the past as Town Supervisor, and leaves open the possibility of running again.
