VESTAL -- The Binghamton University men's basketball team is 0-2 to start the season, but first-year head coach Tommy Dempsey isn't letting his players get down on themselves.
During Sunday's loss to Brown, Dempsey pulled the towel off a player's head towards the end of the game. A gesture he hopes sends a message to the rest of the team.
"It was don't hang your head," said Coach Dempsey. "Maybe today wasn't our day, but it's never going to be our day if we don't have the right attitude. I don't want to see the signs of losing, and I though that was a sign of losing. That's what we're trying to clean up around here."
BU gets back to the court Wednesday with a trip to Navy, followed by a visit to Army on Friday.
