The silent film program kicks off this weekend with a live master theatre organist Steven Ball--who reinforces the silent story-line with his unique talent. Saturday's show is geared especially for kids and families.
It's so much fun and it's so exciting to have an art form where you can be both symphony orchestra and conductor in real time, and I'll have to do it with moving images. it's a type of magic and unique American art that can exist no where else," said Ball.
Saturday's film is "Sherlock Junior" starting at 2pm and Sunday's is Harold Lloyd's "Safety Last" at 7:30PM.
