A Rape Arrest in Johnson City

--A rape arrest in Johnson City, andpolice have a suspect in custody:
 
It happened Thursday, in the Willow Street area.

Police responded to a report of a sexual assault there--and arrested 32 year old Carlos Carreras, formerly of Johnson City.

He's charged with rape in the 1st Degree and a Criminal Sex Act.

After arraignment, he was sent to Broome County Jail-- where he is now awaiting further court action.
