ENDICOTT -- Because footballs are oblong the bounces aren't always predictable, and the latest bounce affects two section four title games.
Union-Endicott and Vestal's Class A Section Championship has been moved Friday night from a 7 pm start to a 5 pm kickoff with the Class D Section IV Championship between Tioga and Groton set to follow immediately after.
That game, which originally was schedule to begin 7pm at Ty Cobb Stadium, is now set to take place at Binghamtons Alumni Stadium at approximately 7:30pm.
As for the Saturday contests which are currently schedule for Ty Cobb could be moved to Alumni Stadium as well, pending an evaluation of U-E's football field after Hurricane Sandy rolled through the area Monday and Tuesday.
Officials will know if the games will be moved Tuesday morning when they pull the tarp off the field.
