Siena Poll Voters

The latest Sienna Poll shows that heading toward election day, both Kirsten Gillibrand and President Obama are poised to carry New York.

The large lead for Obama is similar to the support he got from New York in the 2008 election.

The poll shows the President leading Mitt Romney 59-35 percent.

In 2008 however, the President's lead was even larger when he carried the state 63 to 36 percent over John McCain.

The poll also shows very good news for Senator Kirsten Gillibrand with a 67 to 24 percent lead over her Republican Challenger, Wendy Long.
