Richardson: "(Lehner) is here to stop the puck."
10/23/2012 (Updated 10/30/2012 2:55:43 PM)
Not B-Sens Head Coach Luke Richardson.
At least he doesn't like his goalie, Robin Lehner, mixing things up when his team follows said goalie fight by blowing a five-goal lead with a 6-5 overtime loss to Syracuse.
"There's always excitement when goalies fight, but that's not what we want of him. He's here to stop the puck, and that's what he did well for the first half of the game, says Richardson.
He's a fiery guy. He's a vocal guy. He's always talking and yelling at guys on the bench, so he has that leadership role that he takes upon himself, but he has to make sure that he manages that, and we've got to help him manage that."
The B-Sens have the next few days off to work on Lehners aggressiveness before hitting the road Saturday against Portland.
