GREENE -- Soon the Trojans will have their head coach back.
After Wednesday night's school board meeting, where the local community came to voice their displeasure with the school decision, today the Greene Central School district announced that Tim Paske will be reinstated to the team starting Monday, meaning that he'll still miss this Saturdays game verse Whitney Point.
In a statement released to the media the district's superintendent Jon Retz says:
"Following several meetings and meaningful discussions, the Greene Central School District and its Varsity Football Coach, Tim Paske have reached an understanding regarding an on-going personnel issue. Mr Paske will resume his head coaching responsibilities Monday, October 15. Please respect that this issue has been resolved and allow the Greene Football Team to focus on the remainder of their season."
