It's part of the lobbying group's "you've earned a say" tour. There were games, quizzes, and information about the different proposals about Social Security and Medicare being debated in Washington. The AARP asked people to share their opinions through a questionnaire and even video message.
"Their concern about these programs and have little faith in it but they know how important they are. we want to make sure that the opportunities here that you want to share your thoughts or concerns or give your ideas that you can come you've earned a say to do that," Said Chris Widelo of AARP.
Today was the first of a five-day tour throughout New York State that will end Tuesday at Hofstra University.
