Two BU Basketball Players suspended after early morning arrest
10/8/2012 (Updated 10:58:32 PM)
Senior Javon Ralling and freshman Jordan Reed were both charged with disorderly conduct, while Ralling was also charged with resisting arrest.
Both are suspended indefinitely from the team while the judicial process plays out. Ralling and Reed are due to appear in Binghamton City Court on October 17.
In a conversation with FOX 40, Athletic Director Patrick Elliott said the department is still trying to figure out exactly what happened.
"Right now we're just trying to collect facts about what occurred," said Elliott. "We wanted to be up front with the information, and be transparent, but we're really still trying to understand what occurred and we'll go from there."
Ralling started 10 games for the Bearcats last season, averaging a little less than four points per game. Reed is a freshman from Philadelphia, Pa.
