B-Sens building chemistry thanks to lockout
9/30/2012 (Updated 10:58:25 PM)
Sunday marked the second scrimmage of camp so far, and one thing to notice is just how full the roster already looks in Binghamton.
With the NHL lockout, players like Andre Petersson, Mark Borowiecki and Robin Lehner who would normally be fighting for a spot with the big club, are training with the B-Sens. This makes for a good way to build some chemistry.
"It's good to have everybody around," said Corey Cowick Sunday after practice. "Usually you still have some guys up in Ottawa, battling for jobs up there, and they come down right before the first game. But it's good to have them here at camp, and build a little chemistry."
The team continues practice at the Arena for the next few days before the B-Sens host Hershey Wednesday in their first preseason game.
