ROLLING FIRE HEARING RESULTS

A local smoke shop targeted by Attorney General Eric Schneiderman for selling bath salts, and synthetic marijuana was fighting that charge in court Friday.

Rolling Fire Glassworks in Endicott is one of 11 smoke shops throughout the state that's been blocked from selling synthetic marijuana and bath salts by a court order.

This came after the Attorney General's office conducted an undercover camera investigation of the stores.

But the lawyer for Rolling Fire says the shop has done nothing wrong:

"We are very optimistic.  We feel as if the arguments that we have set forth and will elaborate on further will show unequivocally that my client and others that no fraudulent or illegal activity was conducted on the premises", said Tim Dandar, Attorney representing Rolling Fire Glassworks.

The Attorney General claimed the stores were selling dangerous drugs with misleading labels describing them as potpourri or dietary supplements.

Both sides presented arguments Friday.

The judge will decide if another hearing is needed.
