Dan Lamb Talks College Affordability

Democratic candidate for Congress, Dan Lamb, was on the Binghamton University campus today talking about ways to make college more affordable for student's.

Lamb spoke with a group of students at the University Union about staying in Binghamton after graduation, and the problems they face with college debt.

He also spoke about preserving Pell grants and keeping student loans  down, something he claims his opponent Richard Hanna has voted for in the Paul Ryan Budget Plan.

"I believe, very fundamentally, that Binghamton University is a strong University because it allows and provides access to a broad range of students of all economic levels and backgrounds to come here and that's the way it should be", Lamb said.

While Lamb was critical of Hanna's positions, he did not talk about specific changes when it comes to college costs. He said he would like to keep things as they are now.
