Local Computer Scams: What to Watch Out For
9/10/2012 (Updated 10:57:34 PM)
The viewer says he received an unsolicited call this evening, from someone claiming that the person's computer has been hacked, and personal information is being leaked.
The anonymous caller sounding very professional, says that it can be fixed, if the computer owners gives him the passwords, ID's and other personal information.
The caller ID shows a number of 123-456-7891.
Our advice: never give out personal information, unless you can verify who's calling, and why they need it.
