Orzel Attacks Libous in Campaign Statement

John Orzel announced his candidacy for NY State Senate and is already taking about his opponent in the general election, State Senator Tom Libous.

On Tuesday, Orzel talked about his campaign platform including finding new ways to fund public schools, due to the tax cap.

He also said if he is elected, and gas drilling is permitted in New York State, he would make sure safety regulations are enforced.

Orzel also brought up the ethics controversy involving allegations that Libous used political influence to get his son a job at a downstate law firm.
