Escaped Prisoner Captured

In Susquehanna County an inmate of the county jail is captured on foot after he failed to return from work release.

Michael Mudge, 44, left the jail just before 9 am Friday to go work at some local stone quarries but never returned.  Around 11:30 Sunday night cops got a tip that the Mudge was in Great Bend.  Police took him into custody after a foot chase behind the EMS Building.

He's back in jail with escape charges pending.
