OWEGO -- Just over a year ago flood waters ravaged through most of the Southern Tier, with one of the worst hit areas being Owego. The terrible flooding caused the Owego Free Academy football team to cancel two games, and relocate most of their others.
However, it's an experience the team now hopes to call on a year later. During the weeks after the flood, the Indians may not have had practice fields, but they did have to come together as a team and a community.
