Binghamton Police Investigate Stabbing & Shooting

A stabbing and a shooting Thursday tonight, in what appears to have been a single incident in the city of Binghamton.

It happened just before 8 Thursday evening at 6 Miles Street.
According to scanner reports, police were responding to reports of a woman with a stab wound and a man with two gunshot wounds.

Neighbors would not talk on camera, but several of them told Fox 40 News that the couple had been arguing, and then they heard two popping sounds.
Both victims were taken by ambulance to Wilson Hospital.

Police have not released any official information at this point.
