New Dance Studio Opens in Binghamton

It looked like there was a dance party in a parking lot on Court Street on Sunday at the newest dance studio in the city called Kelly O'Shea's Performing Arts.

Sunday was the open house to celebrate the opening of their new dance studio. 

It will offer a variety of classes including jazz, ballet, hip-hop, and even fitness six days a week. 

Kelly is a certified trainer, and all of her teachers started out as her students.

"Majority of them that will be teaching have started with me when they were 2 or 3 years old," said O'Shea.  "And they've toured, danced with cruise lines, been NBA dancers, Ms. Fitness USA.  So I'm just so proud of the fact that they're back and they're going to be teaching for me."

About 150 people registered for classes that will start in September.
