Its Kids Day At The Farmer's Market

It wasn't your typical farmer's market scene at Otsiningo Park. 
 
Of course there were your typical vegetable and fruit stands, but
there were also hundreds of children enjoying themselves.  It was kids day at the market.
   
They had a chance to take part in various activities including  playing  in a bounce house, getting their faces painted, and play darts and ring toss games.  And at the end everyone joined in for some hula hooping.

"We've been giving organic coloring books and there have been a lot of kids coming through with faces painted and everyone seems to be having a fun day." said Lisa Engelbert of Engelbert Organic Farms.

"I went around looking at stuff like cookies, playing dart games, and fishing games and got a lemonade." said Julius Wanjama.

About 30 vendors participated selling fresh vegetables and other local foods. The Otsiningo farmer's market is held every Saturday.
