Big Lots Opening

Friday marked the grand opening of the new Big Lots in -Binghamton's West Side-- replacing the one off State Street-- in the new Price Chopper Plaza at Glenwood avenue.

When you've developed a following--folks will follow you--
the regional manager says he's pleased to see customers from their previous location check out the store -- which will be hiring more employees.

Rick Randall, Big Lots District Manager said, "We've been very well received in the neighborhood in our soft opening. We expect to employee even more people through the holiday season. The store is doing great already."

Each time a new store opens, the company donates 25-hundred dollars to a local school, and this time the money will go to Thomas Jefferson elementary school
